How to setup your POP3 email in Outlook 2003:
- Select Tools/Email Accounts from the menu
- Click the Add New Email Account radio button and click Next
- Select the POP3 button and click Next
- Enter your name and email address
- Both Incoming Mail Server and Outgoing Mail Server should be set to
mail.yourdomain.com (substituting yourdomain with your actual domain name) - The username is your full email address (ex. john@domain.com)
- Enter the password you chose when the account was setup in
your CPanel - Click the More Settings button, then the Outgoing Server tab
- Check the box next to ‘My outgoing server (SMTP) requires authentication’
* Note: Different versions of Outlook have slightly different menu selections.
